Engr. M. A. Rashid is a distinguished marine engineer and a prominent figure in Bangladesh’s shipbuilding industry. With over 35 years of experience, he has been instrumental in steering KSBL towards growth and its international expansion.

His vision and leadership have played a vital role in enhancing Bangladesh’s capabilities in maritime technology and ship construction. Engr. M. A. Rashid received ‘Maritime Day Award 2008’ for outstandingg achievement in the Shipbuilding sector.

He is a great Philanthropist and contributes in a great way for nation building activities including skilled manpower development and in Islamic spiritual endeavors. He is the Chairman of M. A. Rashid Foundation.

Ms. Monimum Naher, Director of the company, started shipbuilding business in 1994. She also holds the position as a director in KSBL. Completed education in Master of Arts in Economics. She has 20 years of experience in office, administrative and financial management.

Enamun Nahar, Director of the company, has been on the board of KSBL since 2004. She is also the sponsor director of KSBL. Completed education in Master of Business Administration. She has over 15 years of experience in office & administrative management of the company.

Ms. Athena Rashid, Director of the company, has been on the board of KSBL since 2004. She is also the sponsor director of KSBL. She is qualified with LLB from UK. She has over 15 years of experience in office & administrative management of the company.
